Golf shoes are easy to leave behind. They live in a closet, a garage shelf, or a separate bag — while the rest of your kit is already on the cart bag. You grab the bag, load the car, and only notice the empty shoe spot when you’re in the parking lot.
Roo-Towel started from that problem. Doug Wilson in Victoria, Texas designed a towel so the shoes could ride with the towel that already clips to the bag — not as a second thing to remember at the door.
The job isn’t “another microfiber towel”
Plenty of towels wipe clubs. The unique job here is the kangaroo shoe pouch: after the round (or before you leave home), a pair of golf shoes slides into the lower pouch. The towel is already on the bag. Shoes travel with the bag.
That keeps muddy soles off the passenger floor and trunk liner, and it cuts the “I left my shoes at home” loop because the carrier is attached to gear you already bring.
How the pouch works
- Lay the towel logo-up. The shoe pouch is at the bottom.
- Slide shoes in toe-first, side by side. They sit loosely — there is no divider.
- Lift the bottom loop up to the S-carabiner and clip it to your bag. The pouch closes around the shoes as it hangs.

Honest notes: Clip the loop or the pocket stays open. One pair of typical golf shoes is the intent — not a hard-shell travel case.
What 2.0 adds for the round
Roo-Towel 2.0 keeps the same pouch, clip, and loop, and adds a 4" × 4" wet pocket with a sponge for clubs and balls during the round. Use it on the bag. Use it as a shoe carrier on the walk to the car.
