Most golf towels are only a wipe. Roo-Towel is built around a different job: a kangaroo pouch that carries your golf shoes with the towel that already lives on your bag — so shoes ride with the bag instead of getting left at home or dumped on the car floor.
Both 1.0 and 2.0 share that pouch, the S-carabiner, and the bottom loop. The difference is one feature: the wet sponge pocket.

1.0 does not accept the 2.0 sponge pack — there is no wet pouch to put it in. If you want damp cleaning on the bag, get 2.0.

Pick Roo-Towel 1.0 if you want:
- The shoe pouch without a wet pocket
- A straightforward gift in White or Gray
- A second towel for a locker, trunk, or another bag (and you already own a 2.0)
